Shellac

There has been a lot of hype in the news on shellac and it’s affect on  natural nails. Shellac will not weaken your nails if it is applied and removed by a licensed(licensed being the key word) nail professional from a reputable salon. If for any reason you cannot get in to see your nail tech.  do not peel  off shellac it takes layers of your nail with it which causes nails to weaken. To properly remove shellac soak a cotton ball in acetone wrap foil paper around it and wait 10 min. for shellac to start peeling then take a orange wood stick or cuticle pusher and remove what is left. Shellac is 3-free no formaldehyde, DBP or toluene it is also hypo-allergenic!! To keep your nail healthy while wearing shellac apply solar oil on top of shellac it will actually seep through keeping nails healthy and moisturized.
